So, a lot of you may know, i work at  Starbucks. I have being working there for a year now. And I love it, i have definitely had my issues with it, but all in all, it is a great job. Something that people don’t understand about Starbucks is how Great of a company it really is, all the customers see is the raising prices, and the mean barista on the other side of the register. What you don’t see, is that our prices rise, so that we can continue our fair trade contract with coffee farmers, or that those Barista behind the counters, the customers have been mean to them, and they are trying their best not to throw off their apron and run out the store screaming, but working to make sure you have a good experience, Or when they mess up your drink, it wasn’t intentional, we promise, but when we cop you an attitude because you want it remade, most of the time that anger is at ourselves for not giving you the perfect beverage the first time. I have being writing an informative speech for my public speaking course, and i chose the easiest topic in the world to inform people on, Starbucks. But the more i learned about the company itself, and the heart that howard Schultz has, the more i was wanted to work hard for this company. I have more of a respect for the people i work for. Yes, we are not all perfect, don’t get me wrong, Starbucks has it issues, but if we dwell on all of those issues, where will we go in life? we will end up being stagnant in life, not a flowing river racing towards what is ahead of us. Onward.
